Enterprise Architecture Practitioners Conference - Paris, France

I'm in Paris, France this week attending The Open Group's Enterprise Architecture Practitioners Conference. Besides systems and software architecture, I've taken an interest in Enterprise architecture as of late as a means to better align IT with the business interests of my organization.
Any readers out there working on Enterprise Architecture using a formal, established framework such as TOGAF or Zachman? If so, what have your experiences been?

Hey, I'm happy for you! I wanted to be at that conference, but we're in the middle of strategic planning right now. What do you think of TOGAF? I have been looking at getting TOGAF certified. I hope the conference is good, share your experience!

Hi Rob,
The conference is going pretty well so far. Lots of good info on not only TOGAF, but also SOA within the context of EA. I'll post more when I get a chance to clean up my notes.
I've been looking at various frameworks, trying to figure out what will and won't work within my organization. So far, I like TOGAF the best, even if we don't end up fully implementing it. The Open Group is a growing organization, and seems to have broad industry support, at least as it's represented here at the conference.
